A much-loved Kentucky tradition delicacy. These little gems originated in the 19th century and got their name because they are made by beating the dough with a wooden mallet for a half an hour. A tradition that speaks "Southern Hospitality" very clear.

Delicious with a thin slice of Country Ham and a little butter.
Cello-wrapped, they’ll keep for up to 2 months without refrigeration. Ready to eat, or warm for 5 minutes in a toaster oven.
